Title: Programming a Roll on Beatstep Pro
Post by: meeeemer on February 25, 2021, 06:03:54 pm
Sorry if this has been posted somewhere else (I checked and couldn't find the answer here or in the manual). How do I program drum-rolls into a sequence on bsp? I know how to use the roller when it's playing back off the cuff, but would like to program a roll.

Thanks! ???

ps: ARTURIA, your captcha is so hard wtf

You can, although the role is limited to the resolution of the sequencer. So if you have it at quarter notes, it will not record 32nd note rolls, for example.

Go to Control Mode
Hold Shift
If Step 9 is not lit, press it so it’s blue. This switches from Loop to Roll mode.
Press Drum.
Start recording.
Press the pad and the roller.
Behold.
(Assuming current firmware and whatnot.)
