Title: CPU Requirements

The webpage for Pigments says that the recommended CPU is 2.5GHz. Is that for a single core? I have a 1.6GHz i5, but it is a quad core. Will this be good enough to run Pigments through Ableton?

Hi and welcome to Arturia forums.

Yes it's single core performance to run a single application, and for some applications not in the most demanding way.

A CPU like yours can perhaps do a little, depending on what you wan't and need to do. But it's not a CPU that can do much audio production.
Even a 2.5 GHZ CPU can in some demanding cases fall short.

The informations in the article is quite generel, no matter which DAW and other audio applications you use.
