Title: BeatStep Pro and tr-808 : Is it possible to apply swing to my tr-808 ?

Hello everyone,

I want to buy a BeatStep Pro but I would like to know if BSP is able to apply swing to a tr-808 in sync (clock) ?

Please help me.

The TR-808 uses DIN-SYNC which is 24ppqn, so if you set the BSP to output that rate on its clock out then you can sync your TR-808 to MIDI.  BUT, that said, the swing on the BSP doesn't affects the clock out, so you won't be able to do it, really.  I tried to think of a work around by using a drum gate out, but you'd need to be able to run the step rate at 1/96.....  :'(
