Title: Separate Midi Ch for keyboard in Control mode
Post by: mikehammon on May 18, 2020, 07:45:32 pm
Would be nice to be able to have the keyboard send out notes on a different channel when in Control mode than the previous selected track. Would work for me if it was the Global channel.

I would use it to feed the Auto-channel in my Elektron A4 to easily record into its internal sequencer tracks.

You could also imagine using it as a fifth "track" where you can jam along to the 4 sequencer tracks.

The "White" channel seems to have some future potential.  I haven't fully wrapped my head  around this channel yet.

+1

The BSP does allow to play along with the sequenced tracks on a separate midi channel.
I already ordered a KSP, but it would be a major disappointment to discover that it ain’t as powerful as my current BSP plus KS combination.

+1 for this feature.
Sending the keyboard out on the Global Channel if Shift+Control is pressed and work as normal when just Control pressed seems pretty intuitive (or add as an option in the Utility/Settings).
