I turned my BSP on the other day & it is malfunctioning. Here is a video of what happens:
https://youtu.be/qJTRKtP184E
It has been powered from a USB hub since I got it a few years ago, it has never left my house & has had no accidents or mistreatment.
Things I have tried:
- Reinstalling firmware - the MCC can see the BSP and I can reinstall/upgrade/downgrade firmware with no issues. When it reboots it still has the same issues.
- Resetting to factory settings via MCC. Reset seems to succeed but unit still has same problems.
- Hard reset - normally I can't do the power-on hard reset as the PRST LINK button is not working but I have managed to get hard reset to work a few times after resetting the firmware. Again, once it has finished the issues are the same.
I have taken it apart to check for any signs of internal issues (liquid damage, component failure) & can find none.
I have contacted Arturia support but was wondering if anyone else had seen similar problems. I can't find anything via Google.
It is probably long out of warranty but i'd like to at least try to resurrect it if I can.
Cheers,
Jamie

Damn! Is there any chance that a power spike could have run through it while you were not around? I've had mine since the first release in 2015 but have never had any troubles. Always powered from a USB power distro hub connected to a surge protected mains power board, not ever from a hub connected to a computer.

Arturia support got back to me super quickly - apparently the main board has a fault and they will sell me a replacement which is a reasonable outcome. There was no mention of what might of caused it - a power spike is unlikely as I don't really leave it unattended. My guess is a component has failed. If I was set up for proper SMD rework I would have pressed for more info as I would assume it might be repairable.

After some TERRIFIC support from Arturia I got a replacement main board at a fair price and it's all working again :)
