Title: New bug: Synced Delay time
Post by: standingwave on January 24, 2019, 01:51:38 am
Can you guys check your delay time when sync is engaged. It seems that I only have from 12o'clock to 3o'clock available on the knob. The knob works fine when not in sync.

Whow! I just checked, and you are right!

How can we have missed this for so long?

This actually leaves me with only 3 different delay times...

I am honestly shocked over here.

Further findings:

It is not the knob, the behaviour also shows when addressing delay time from the matrix.

When using the mono delay, a fully CW delay time setting jumps back the the same (short) delay time I get from CCW to 12 o clock...

Thus I conclude: It's a buuuug!

Yep.
I opened a support ticket and Arturia claim that's how it is supposed  to work. I don't think so.

I mean, since the LFOs are unable to operate in anything but even divisions, the delay just offering 4th, 8th and 16th is (not cool, but) imaginable, but then why does the delay jump back to 16th, when the knob is turned all the way up? That makes no sense.

And apart from that: No triplet delays... Really?

Edouard got back to me regarding the ticket I had opened. The tech team are looking into it as a bug now.
