Title: BSP and 0-Coast MIDI issues
Post by: zeaL on November 23, 2018, 10:52:58 am
Hi everyone, so like the title says I can't seem to control my 0-Coast with my BSP using MIDI. In CV it's working fine but when I try to connect the two via MIDI the 0-Coast is not receiving anything. I used two adaptors with a midi cable to connect them, from the MIDI Out of the BSP to the MIDI In of the 0-Coast, I do a sequence on the 1st sequencer of the BSP but it does nothing to the 0-coast. Did I miss something important? Also, I have installed the latest firmware of the BSP if that matters. Thanks.

Hi first make sure your using the correct adaptors   i.e. midi and not the sync ones  and then check that both the bsp and your device are on the same midi channel.

regards

Hi   Use the channel button on the Bsp  and on your device you will need
To look at it’s manual

The manual of the 0-coast say it receives on all channel so it should be a cable problem, I'm going to take the replacement kit and see how it goes.

Reset your O-C to default just in case you have inadvertently programmed a Midi channel.

It should work fine with no issue.    Use the MIDI converter that came with the 0-C though.
