Title: Latency on Ableton Live (OSX) - Propietary Driver
Post by: sersonoro on September 05, 2018, 02:32:27 pm
Hi guys. I just bought an Audiofuse and I must say I'm very dissapointed. I need it to use it live with Ableton and the latency is a problem.

In 48Khz and 64 samples I get 7ms of round trip latency, but I was used to have it in 128 samples and now I can't use as many plugins as before.
I have a 2011 Macbook Pro with an I5 and 8gb of RAM.

I understand MOTU and RME's propietary drivers are better in that regard.
For the people of Arturia: Why don't you release a propietary driver?
For the other users: How do you manage latency?

Also... When I want to use outboard gear such as a delay with my analogue guitar signal the latency doubles because I have to come out of the interface and then back in... It's a bummer.

Hi sersonoro,
sorry if you're not enjoying the AudioFuse as a part of your setup.
did you try to use the driver error compensation in Live Audio settings?

here is also a bunch of articles which could be helpful in your case :

sorry for not being able to provide much more help.
Hope it helps a bit anyway.
