Title: Can you record a sequence from Ableton into Minibrute 2s?

Just got my Minibrute 2s and was wondering if it is possible to record a bassline that I have written in Ableton live ‘into’ my Minibrute 2s(using midi out from live into midi in on brute ?

Basically can the Minibrute 2s read note for note what is happening with the bassline from live ?

Hi Damoog,

Yes you can do that. Simply send midi from your DAW to the MiniBruteMkII.
MBMKII should be in real time rec (rec button blue shift+rec) and you must be slave of your DAW.

I have just tried this in Propellerheads Reason and it works great. However be careful as some notes can be recorded with gate ties so play back slightly different. An easy fix is to remove the ties with the encoder.
