Title: Keylab MKII sales text error.
Post by: LBH on June 22, 2018, 01:39:41 pm
Your new Keylab MKII look nice.

WHen i was reading i could'nt see anything about aftertouch.  I found out MKII has aftertouch. But you have an error in the text on the sales page. You write:
"Hardware Specifications:
49 & 61 key options available, each with high quality keybed with velocit"

In the manual you have this text:
"49 or 61 semi-weighted keys with velocity- and pressure-sensitivity (channel
aftertouch)"
[/b]

So you at least have lost a "y" in velocity on the sales page, but i also think afterouch is worth to mention, as it's very important to some.

Just saying.

BTW.
I wish the 61 key had the wheels like the 49 keys.
And i wish there was a x/y pad or a joystick. Afterall even V-Collection have synth that use  x/y or joystick controls, and in generel it's a way to control dual parameters at the same time with one hand.
That said, then Keylab MK II looks great. 9 faders, encoders and buttons, is much better than 8 of each. And the faders even have a drawbar mode.

Perhaps having 2 versions where one have the Pads to the right and the faders etc to the left could be great. It depends on usage what is best.
