Title: Control mode issues

Hi

When I'm using the beatstep pro in control mode, I want to assign the pads to on/off switches for effects in Ableton. When I press the pad, it is turning the device on then off again and its staying in off mode. Do I need to play around with the MIDI sync preferences in Ableton or is it a setting in the control center software? It seems to be sending a note on/off message.

Hi Itslovelybythesea,
You need to setup, what the BSP pads send within the MCC. You also must choose between toggle or gate mode.
