Title: use output 1-2 and 3-4 at the same time ?
Post by: hugo on December 14, 2017, 07:36:13 pm
Hi,

In my daw I send some tracks in output 1-2 and some others in output 3-4 for mixing them separetely in my hardware console ; but it doesn't work because I have to choose between speaker A or B, it seems that I can't use both of them...

Is there a solution for that or something that I missed ?

Thanks,
Hugo

Hi Hugo,
you can indeed both outputs on you AF, using the "Speaker B from phone 2" feature . Here is how you can do this :

Open the AudioFuse Control Center

Click on "SPEAKER B FROM PHONE 2"  icon located in the upper left part of AudioFuse Control Center, pictured with an arrow on the attached screenshot (no need, in your case, to click on re-amping or ground lift)

This will allow you to use the main output knob of the AudioFuse to control speaker A output volume, and you will be able to control Speaker B output volume, using Phone 2 output knob.

Hope this helps,
feel free to come back to me if needed.

Hi,

I tried your solution but I had the sound from output 1-2 in the output 3-4, not what I wanted. Now I found the solution, I'd forgotten to switch from Main to Cue 1 in the earphone2's options.
Now it works, and thanks for your answer.

But for being honest it's a complicate way for using a really simple fonction.
And this solution oblige to loose the independance of the earphone 2, now in my second headphone I'm oblige to ear what's in the cue 1 and not the master..

I hope that an update will correct that soon !

Thanks again,

Hugo
