Title: Key Track (Keyboard Tracking)
Post by: madScientist on October 24, 2017, 10:45:22 am
Hi guys, on my Minibrute I have a smart knob: KBD Tracking. I miss keyboard tracking on the MB. No Key Track for me is an issue, but I think there must be a workarround on the MB with the matrix. Does anybody know how it works? Kbd/Seq sends only trigger - to rout this to the cutoff is obiously not enough.
Please do not refer to an old post in this forum, because this is quite confused and not really helpful.
Best wishes!

Hi !

What do you mean exactly by " Kbd/Seq sends only trigger" ?

The Kbd/Seq modulation source corresponds to the same thing as a keyboard tracking knob.
If you want your filter cutoff to open progressively while playing higher notes, you have to make sure to reduce the cutoff value first, then assign KBD/SEQ to the Cutoff with a consequent amount (at least 70%)

Let me know if I am not understanding this correctly.

I had this from the list of MOD sources in the manual.
"Kbd/Seq = Note triggers from the keyboard or SEQuencer".

I did what you said and it seems working.
Thanks a lot!

In that case this is a mistake in the manual !

Thank you, I'll log this to be fixed on our side

Sorry for the inconvenience :)
