Title: [SOLVED] MMC will not recognize BeatStep Pro

Just purchased a new beatstep pro. Followed the steps to connect to my Surface Pro II (connected directly, not via hub. Tried with different USB cables. Even tried with the supplied power/data splitter). My computer sees the beatstep pro. It is recognized as a software and controller by windows, but MMC never shows me a beatstep pro option, only beatstep. I searched the web and these forums and did everything others have (uninstalled and reinstalled drivers. Uninstalled and reinstalled MMC. Disabled other midi devices. Burnt offerings and blood sacrifice. Still no joy. Please. Help.

Nevermind. A burrito bowl and two coffees later I have it sorted.
