Title: [SOLVED]Record Midi Sequence Into Beatstep Pro Using Ableton

Hi there. Is there any way to record midi into Beatstep Pro from an Ableton clip? I understand that I cannot import midi, but is there any way to record midi notes coming from Ableton?

Hi seabearho,

You want to record on Sequencer 1.
Select Seq1
Press SHIFT + CHAN on BSP and choose an input MIDI channel
Set your MIDI track output to the right MIDI Channel and to BSP.
Set your BSP as USB Slave, press record on it
Press play in Live, it will send MIDI note from your clip to the BSP, which will record them.
