Title: allow Multiple gate per step: from 2 to 8 (or more) like Roland 100M sequencer

Hi, I thing this would be fine to add the feature found in Roland 100m sequencer: to allow multiple gate per step.
In gate menu, after gate length/tie/rest to add the ability to generate from 2 to 8 (or more) pulses per step, not changing step length

Can you not just run multiple drum (gate) tracks with the same sequence on each?

I think the OP is describing a ratcheting or trilling effect that has already been requested many times and would be a great feature. At the moment I am using my BSP with a Doepfer A160-5 voltage controlled clock  multiplier ratchet controller - BSP gate goes to clock in on Doepfer and Velo CV goes to CV in to control how many gate clocks come out per note.
