Title: Active step for individual instruments?

Hi
I'd like to be able to active step individual instruments to get a bit more polyrhythmic fun happening. Is this only possible if connected to the Midi Control Centre using 'shift' /current track 'swing'  ?
I haven't got the cord to connect to my pc yet but it'd be nice to not have to take my computer to gigs..anyone worked out how to do that? I get the polyrythmic option.

Yes I've been wondering this....

The manual says it it possible to "Shift all the active step of the current instrument" by pressing Shift + turning the Swing knob.... but it doesnt seem to have any effect...?

Anyone help?
