Title: Beatstep Pro Failed to open device make sure...

We just aquired a brandnew BSpro. I want to ude is with mu Win10pro laptop. Installed the fresh from site the midicontol software, but whane the BS is connectedt is get the ERROR window:
Failed to open the device. Please verify the device is not in use by another application"
And afaik ther is no other app runnin, multiple restarts, resets, nothing.
Laptop is Asus I7 GL522v on W10 pro.
At this point the device is useless...

did you manage to solve the problem you had with MCC? I have the same problem

I've been having this issue for years. Idk why I take it out every 6 months and attempt this again. It does what it does when untethered, that's about it!
