Title: TR8 and Microbrute. Out of sync.

Hi Everyone, I'm a newbie so apologies in advance for any naivety. Got a TR8 and recently got a microbrute on rec from a mate. Hooked it up with midi cable but the sequencer on the MB is totally NOT syncing with the clock on the TR8. From what I have read this is a common fault. I was unaware of it before I bought the MB and may have thought twice had I known it was such a common problem. Is there a solution to this other than returning it and buying something else?

Did you use the MB connection software to  make sure the MB is set to  sync to EXT clock or AUTO???
