Hi. I have issues to update firmware. I'm on a MBP Late 2013 w/ Yosemite (10.10.5). I open the CCenter, it says I can update the drumbrute, I switch OFF to ON, DrumBrute restart on update mode and CCenter just say "Failed to open the device".
-
Okay, I restarted computer and the error message appear directly at start... I can't sync the drumbrute with the CC.
-
Hi in your utilities folder open audio midi setup and find the Drumbrute drivers they maybe 2 and highlight it and delete then plug the Drumbrute back in and try again

Hi, thanks for your answer. I tried to start it with holding play/stop buttons on and it worked. I have the 1.1 firmware. Like you said I went in Audio/Midi setup and deleted the both drumbrute and it now it's reconnized, many thanks !
But the Sync button still disabled... Maybe is it normal?
-
Thats good news ,the sync button is not used on the drumbrute.

I received my DrumBrute today and I am having update problems.
MacBook Pro OS X 10.11.16
MCC 1.5.1.882
I can get as far as the DrumBrute waiting with 'UPD' on the screen but then MCC 'Failed to open the device'
I have tried to delete DrumBrute icons on the Midi Setup but it seems to keep coming back
Any help appreciated - all my other Arturia stuff seems to update okay

HI, Go into your audio midi setup in utilities on your mac and delete the 2 drum brute midi drivers there and then plug in your DB and try again it should do the trick.

'DrumBrute Updater'keeps re-appearing in Midi Setup when I plug the DrumBrute back in and I cannot seem to delete it.
The Drumbrute is in 'UPD' mode but I still get the same error message when I try to update

Hi rufus , so after deleting the first driver let drum brute add a new diver this you do not need to delete. if your machine is in upd mode just open the mcc and press on firmware update at this point if your machine is already in upd mode just press ok to load the new firmware . you do not need to turn off drum brute. please download the firmware and place this on your desktop and when prompted find this file and load.
Let me know how you get on.

Hi Terry
I sorted it by downloading MCC to my Windows 10 laptop and perform the update that way without a single problem :D

Just got my Drum Brute today. I like it.
But, please Arturia, fix your firmware update issues.
It took me probably 10 tries of restarting, deleting midi devices, connecting USB in the right order.
I finally got updated to 1.1.0. It took probably 20 mins all in all.
Super annoying!
Same thing with Beatstep Pro, By the way.
That's all.

Hello.
We are currently working on this issue.
To avoid this keep all other Midi applications closed. (DAW, monitor etc)
Unplug all other Midi devices
If the issue persists, follow this article and try again:

Hi, I have a sync problem with my DrumBrute.
Update is ok, Midi control center is installed on my Mac and works perfectly with my 32 analog Factory (sync is ok), but in the MCC when I choose the DrumBrute, the sync button is off, It tried to turn on and off the DB, I tried to open the audio midi settings (there is no Drumbrute in it...), no sync button...
The DB sounds perfectly with or whitout a DAW but that sync button is always off, so the sync is not possible, too bad, what can I do?
Thanks
-
Hi the sync button on the mcc for drum brute is not used .You just need to save your template with in the mcc and store to or recall from to transfer patterns to and from drum brute.
