Title: bsp and ableton impossible to play live

My BSP works ok with ableton if I play a pattern but if I play live keys or drums on the BSP there's a massive delay to the point where it's unusable. I've checked all Ableton preferences and there's no delay set up anywhere. What gives?

This is one of those questions where it would help if you post you soundcard settings/ your DAW audio settings and your computer specs like CPU clockrate and disk type and speed.
Also info about how you hook up beatstep could help.

It's possible to have high latency if it's not real time performance. In Realtime performance you need low latency and a computer that can do the given task. Perhaps your latency is set to high for realtime performance.

I don't have beatstep.
