So I created a new project for something I'm working on.. dug through the library and put together a kit with a bunch of different samples.
One of the samples I grabbed was a kick that had some silence at the beginning.. enough to be noticeable. Went into the studio area, moved the sample start point and it sounds perfect. Save.
Now - whenever I close Spark and reopen it - I have to go back and readjust that sample.
How do I get this to save with the project?

Bueller?
Am I the only one who has this issue?

Hi, I had a look at this today and cannot reproduce your issue . Do you save your samples with your projects ? as in the pref pane.

Yes.. every time it pops up and asks me to save samples, I say yes. Let me make sure that it's actually doing it and I'll post back.
There isn't a lot of documentation on the sample editing capabilities, so maybe I'm doing something wrong

Just looked - and it does not seem to be copying the samples to the new project folder. Just a .dat file in there. I've said 'yes' every time it asks about saving a copy.
I swear I saw a bug on that mentioned here on the forum.. like if you're making a project/kit from factory samples, it doesn't copy them?
Edit: this is the thread I'm referencing - and it claims to be fixed.

Hi ,As far as i know its not a bug that library instruments are not saved as they are in the library already . did you set in the pref save a copy always. As it works for me ok.
check your file route that your system has permission to save to the destination.

Thanks, Terry - will check that. It definitely can save files, as I've imported several user-made kits that I got here and they saved with no issues.
