Title: BS Pro - Doepfer Dark Energy: CV Question

Trying to figure something out that is happening, and not getting there at the moment.  I've got a Doepfer Dark Energy synthesizer that I am using with a Beatstep Pro (just started with this combo).  They are connected via CV/Gate - I'm particularly wondering on the CV (pitch) aspect of things.

When I use Sequencer 1 on the BSP (Pitch out on BSP to VCO Freq on DE) - the default C3 note when triggered on the BSP has sort of a medium pitch to it from the DE.  But when I use the exact same settings on the DE and simply move the cables on the BSP to Sequencer 2 on the BSP - the pitch on the DE when C3 triggered is now much higher than it was when using Sequencer 1.  Again - nothing was different on the DE.

Anyone might have a thought on why this would happen?  Thanks.

Anyone have an insight on this one??  I still can't figure it out (have looked at the software Editor, and the settings for both sequences via CV/Gate appear the same.
