Title: Restore Factory Sequences
Post by: malong on July 14, 2016, 05:36:28 pm
I have accidentally erased all of the factory sequences from my new Keystep and would like to get them back. I have done a factory reset of the Keystep but that doesn't seem to restore them. Any ideas?

Mike

Hi Mike,

try using Arturias MIDI Control Center (free download). Connect your KeyStep. In MCC, you should be able to drag&drop the factory template called "Default" up to the "Working Project" of the device. Syncing is not necessary for this.

Hmm, tried that, all sequences are still empty/blank.
.
Is there a FACTORY DEFAULT TEMPLATES file we can download from somewhere to enable a proper RESTORE of the factory sequence data, please?

Hi,

Press and hold down Oct+ and Oct- while powering up the KeyStep. You should have an additional LED pattern, release the buttons once it's over.

This will also reset your global parameters (the ones you set into the MCC).

Cheers!

Sadly, this doesn't work. No sequences.

What's your firmware revision?
