Title: Can the Beatstep Pro's transport be remotely controlled? And a pre-roll question

Hi there,

I would like to Play/Stop my Beatstep Pro using a MIDI foot controller (Roland FC-200). Is there any way to do this? Otherwise, I have to burn two sequences, one just for a pre-roll/count in and one at the end of each chain, as I am using the Beatstep Pro to control other synths to use as backing for live use.

From what I have seen, it appears that the BSP can only send CC messages, not receive them. Is this true?

Alternatively, is there a way to set the Beatstep to give a pre-roll before playing a chain?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
