Title: So, what has changed in V Collection 5?
Post by: Tausendberg on May 20, 2016, 12:07:16 am
Does anyone know where I can find update notes or something like that for the Modular V?

It looks like they prettied Modular V up, which is appreciated, but I want to know what bugs have been fixed and the like before I spring for the update.

I want to know if the interface is re-sizeable. It damn well better be.
I'm not particularly happy that Arturia wants us to pay for these upgrades, which have been a long long time coming.  :(

From what I've seen of screencaps, the interface does like resizable and gorgeous.

EDIT: https://www.arturia.com/modular-v/details

"The user interfaces for all your Arturia instruments are now resizable, making it easy to work with any High Resolution screen, UHD or Retina."

Hard to tell as they claim to have rewritten the internals. On the outside nothing but the UI has changed.

Nothing has been added (eg 905 reverb). But those who like the soundmap will be disappointed to here it is gone for good.
