I use my expression pedal A LOT, I'm a big fan of synth "wah" leads, so I use it daily. I have a Roland EV-5, but I'd love something with a lot more travel and weight/resistance, like a Crybaby. Looks like Yamaha has some beefy ones, but I think they're wired opposite of Roland/Arturia/Everyone Else. Any suggestions?

Well, if you wanna go a little crazy... Apparently it's possible to convert a crybaby into a midi-expression pedal.

If you go for this, let me know how it goes please.

Hmmm... interesting, but I doubt I'll get around to doing this, between the expense and risk. I was more using it as an example because many guitar wah pedals are built really sturdy, with a lot more weight and resistance than expression pedals. But someone's gotta have a good expression out there with similarly good machining.

Well, let us know what you find, apparently Hammond has some expensive but I have to imagine useful expression pedals.

Go for one of these:

I'm really pleased with mine :)

Wait, Yamaha pedals work with the Keylab?! I thought their polarity was inverted or something.

Hey, do you guys know if they make an expression pedal that's spring loaded?
What I mean is, you know, most expression pedals are on a pivot basically but what I'm thinking I'd want as a secondary expression pedal is a pedal that I have to apply continuous pressure to cause a spring will push it back up if I don't. I figure it might be good for manually actuated vibrato.

If you have a CP-251, you can plug the EP-3 with the switch set to Standard to the four input mixer and use the - Out for a negative CV
Does that help?
