If I come across a bit stupid , it is merely because the midi sync guide is a bit vague on this issue.  Please see the beloe and confirm if I'm an idiot or not :)

Seq Sync =
Synce Mode - Master / Slave / Remote
Sync Output - On / off
Arpeggio Sync Output - On/off
Rps Trigger Quantize - 16th / Quarter / Real / etc
BPM Clock - On / Off

Midi Tx =

Transmit program change - On/off
Transmit Bank Select - On/off
Transmit Active Sensing - Type CC / Type Quick
Transmit Edit Data - On/off
Soft Through - On/off

Midi Rx =

Remote Keyboard Switch - On/off
Device ID - 17 thru 32
Receive Program Change - On/off
Receive Bank Select - On/off
Receive Exclusive - On/off

You are not stupid, Roland are not really very helpful when it comes to midi, to the point of me not wanting to use anything of theirs other than simple instruments.  My MV-8000 is pretty good, but even it is hobbled when it comes to midi.

I've searched through the MC-909 manual using "midi channel", "midi" and "channel" as search terms.  Only "channel" found what I was looking for.  Each part in the MC-909 corresponds to the same numbered midi channel.  This is unchangeable.  They mention nothing about the drum channel, but history tells of Roland at least adhering to the General Midi convention of drums must run on midi channel 10.

So try this: Set seq sync to slave.
Set Midi Rx to Remote Keyboard On.

Make sure your BSP is sending sequence 1 on midi channel 1, sequence 2 on midi ch2 and drum seq on midi ch10 by pressing the channel button and ensuring green is on 1, yellow is on 2 and purple is on 10.  Don't worry too much about the red channel, but maybe set it to ch1.

Let us know if anything or nothing changes.
