Title: BSP Transposition Channel
Post by: paulogic on January 11, 2016, 10:43:50 am
I transpose my sequences by sending the key to transpose to by USB. In fact a midi keyboard connected to daw, routed to the BSP.
But I think i'm doing something wrong.

When I set Seq Trans Input Channel to eg 5 and set Cubase to send on channel 5 the BSP does not transpose
(Same when connected by midi from a keyboard on channel 5).
The sequences only transpose when I send data to the channels set in Seq1 Rcv Midi Channel (or Seq2...).

example to be clear in what I get :

Seq Trans Input Channel = 5  (Input port USB en Midi)
Seq1 Rcv MIDI Channel = 1
Seq2 Rcv MIDI Channel = 2

Sending data (Keypress on different note)  on MIDI Channel 5 = no transpose.
Sending notes to MIDI Channel 1 will transpose Seq1.
Sending notes to MIDI Channel 2 will transpose Seq2.
If I set Seq1 Rcv MIDI Channel equal to Seq2 MIDI Channel, they both transpose when sending to that channel.

Seq Trans Input Channel doens't seem to do anything.

Is this setting not doing anything or (as assumed) am I doing/interpreting something wrong.

ps : by notes/data ... I mean the Midi value for another key like D3 of F3 or ....
ps2 : images from manual, not actual settings.

Hi have you tried setting the transpose midi to user so this way you can set your keyboard midi to what ever channel you want to transpose.
