Title: Cant run the new Midi Control Center (MCC1.2.2.429_Win) SOLVED
Post by: JoaoApell on November 20, 2015, 12:56:47 am
Hello
I updated beatstep pro to the latest firmware using the older midi control center (3-Sep-2015    10.9 Mb    1.2.1).
Uninstalled old MCC and installed new MCC1.2.2.429_Win to use "Wait for Pattern" option,
The new MCC will not open in Win7 x64, old one runs fine but without new pattern feature.
Anyone else getting this?
Thanx

I cannot run the new MCC either.  It appears to install, but it won't run on my Windows 8.1.  Very frustrating, I've been waiting all day to install the new BSP firmware...

Hey there.  Antivirus software was blocking mine from opening.  Looks like I'm back in action after going offline, shutting down the antivirus, and running MCC.

How do you roll back to old firmware? I haven't been able to get my beat step pro to ever work and am hoping to try to get the original firmware in the hopes that will work.

I'm actually having a similar issue. I went as far as uninstalling my virus software to correct the problem but I still can't connect to the MCC. Well, the device is confirmed as connected but whenever I try to do a save or store I get a message saying "The device has been disconnected". So I took the BSP over to another computer and was able to change parameters which is great.. But I did a really dumb thing and I stored the template from my other computer so it overwrote all my song data. I'm trying to either get the MCC working on the computer that has my back-ups stored or find the back-up file location on a windows 8 PC. Any thoughts or suggestions would be awesome!

Ok file location was found pretty easily (C:\ProgramData\Arturia\MIDI Control Center\Templates\BeatStepPro). Still working on the larger issue of connecting the BSP to MCC on my main computer.
