HI
Can anybody do a nice help video on how to use the MCC with your BSP
I am totally confused since they took away the sync button
Can you save everything in the BSP all 16 projects at once
or do you have to do them 1 by 1 ?
OR can you just save the project your working on
etc etc etc
somebody help
I don't want to loose all my work that I have done so far
but now I have used up all 16 projects I need to start over
but I am scared to in case I do something wrong and loose everything
cheers

Yeah I'm with you. The manual is not up to date. I think it's auto-synced but It's not really clear how to transfer a pattern or patterns to the MCC and vis versa. I'd like to see a video on this as well.

Hi, now the sync buttons gone it should be easy to use . so first if your working on a sequence you must store first in the bsp before you (recall from)on the mcc
So it easy save your work in the bsp press recall from downloads your project ,then name it this is now saved in your projects in the mcc .
then you can store to any project either by highlighting the project number and project and pressing store to or drag the project from project browser to the device project.

Hi Mr. T
I am still not clear in what is happening
I have now used all 16 projects in the BSP
Now I can switch between any of the 16 and all my work on each project is available
So when I now click RECALL in mcc ( as you suggested ) then the mcc
starts to upload files from the BSP ( by default ) it creates a file in the project browser with DATE and TIME as the name. Then I rename this file to ( kev 1 ) .
so far so good ( BUT WHAT HAVE I JUST SAVED IN THE PROJECT BROWSER ? )
Is it just ( 1. ) the project that is in the BSP display or ( 2. ) all of the 16 projects ?
If it is (1.) does that mean I have to repeat this action for each project 1-16
Sorry for being such a dumb arse but it is a little confusing
cheers

Ok ,So first the bsp only saves the project one at a time.
Say I'm on project 10 on the bsp .and just made a killer sequence . you must make sure this seq is saved on the bsp .
In the mcc if working project is highlighted in device projects .if i press recall from then that project ( 10 in this case) will be saved into project browser.
If you want to save all 16 projects from the bsp , you can either keep working project highlighted and go through each project on the bsp. pressing recall from for each one!
hope this clears it up for you.

Hi Mr T.
yes thanks that has cleared up the part about saving projects
Now can you explain if you wouldn't mind
what the process is for loading a project back in
I don't understand how to use the sequence 1 % 2 drum map and controller map
when you can drill down to separate sequences
cheers

Kev just highlight the project destination then grab a project into that project slot
so to copy just a seq to another seq say from seq1 to seq 2 .open the project folder in the browser (bit like windows does) so you can see into that folder and you will see the sequences . say I'm using bassline 1 and i want this on seq2 pattern 3 i just click and drag that seq to the seq2 pattern 3 tab at the top of the mcc. you will notice that a little star is next to the project you ported the sequence to . you now need to press save .then import that project to your bsp as above.
see screen shots
hope this helps

Oh and i forgot to say you can do this with control maps too .
if you have a control map you like in one project you can drag it to another in the tabs at the top

There's nothing in the Factory Templates correct? Was there suppose to be?

Thanks. I think they need to make the MCC a little more comprehensive. I seem to get the gist of it now.
