Been playing with BSP all day -- very satisfied so far.
I have an external keyboard set up to send note data into the BSP, which works fine for the most part. I can switch MIDI channels on the fly to control both sequences and the drums. The issue is that, for some reason, when record is NOT pressed, pressing any key on the external keyboard transposes the sequence instead of playing a note. How come I can play over the sequence just fine on the pads but not with an external keyboard?
Is there some setting the MCC that I'm missing? Let me know if I need to clarify. Thanks.

Hi dhdaniel,
The behaviour you describe seems to be as if you play on the transposition channel.
You can set it with the MCC.

I have similar problem using external keyboard. I switched the transposition channel in MCC to 16 and have the sequencers on channels 2 and 3. When the sequencers are playing, it still transposes the recorded steps, and won't play any new notes. I can only play notes when the sequence is stopped or in record. The drum sequencer doesn't have this problem. Am I doing something wrong, or is this intended operation?
using firmware 1.3.0.23
edit; nvm, found an older thread that said you have to mute the sequencers to get it to play through.
