Hi, I'm just wondering if there is a way to select which sequences are currently playing on the Beatstep Pro via a MIDI message, rather than having to use the < and > buttons. It would be nice to be able to put sequence changes on a timeline and to be able to switch quickly between sequences that are not next to each other in the list.
It would also be great if there was a MIDI command for muting and unmuting the sequencers.
Cheers!

Hi, thats not possible at the moment but you can record the midi from the sequences as you play live or record them and cut and edit them to suit.

Hi !
I'm very interested by this function. I want to control the sequences with a footswitch and keep playing keys or anyting live.
Hope Arturia will allow to command all the beatstep pro acces button (seq1, seq2, drums... and sequence selecting...) in a future fimrware upgrade.
Cheers
Max

+1 for midi selection of sequence... humm ... and transpose too.

+ 100 for selecting and triggering a sequence and a specific pattern from a midi command. It would allow the beat step to be a true slave to Ableton.
For example, a dummy clip in Ableton with a specific CC message automation in it could trigger a specific sequence in the beat step. This way, wholes scenes from within live could be in synchronized with the beat step pro pattern changes.
Please consider this arturia. Otherwise a great product ! Merci
