Hi,
I recognized a short stop every time i use to save a drum pattern on a slot 1 - 16....this only happens on drums...not in seq1 or seq2 !?
Im using ableton drumrack for the drums - connected via usb cable
This happens all the time...now i am on the ne FW - same shit here !
Any suggestions
Greetings

Sorry, no suggestions, just a confirmation of this behavior. I don't know if it's a short stop or steps jump? This only happens on drum seq too not in seq1 or seq2. No usb, beatstep slave via midi, and send midi out, cv etc.
I just retest it, and the behavior seem's to be different if slave via midi or running as master. Is your beatstep slave via usb? or master?

hi,
I think my BSP is always running as slave...clocked via ERM MIDICLOCK - Ableton is cotrolling the drums via drumracks seq 1 is cotrolling my basstation 2 and seq 2 is routed to an vst plugin on ableton.....i ve seen that it is a difference between pushing the buttons shorter or longer - so if u hold the buttons longer there is a hearable stop or beatjump - if u press the buttons quickly u cant hear the beatjump....

Thanks for the tip, it helps to have a better behavior.

I've also had this unfortunate behavior, not a deal-breaker but I hope it can be fixed.

Here i have a new Demo Video of this really annoying Problem..
Saving without Problems : First BSP is Master Clock(INT) -> Midi to Virus Synth
Glitching on Saving Patterns : Roland TB3 is Masterclock -> BSP is Slave -> Midi to Virus Synth
This Problem gets you drasticly in Trouble when you have 2 BSP using in a Live Set!
very frustrating..
On the Liveset we are using since 1year with really good results the RM Midiclock as Master for our equipment
