Title: Beatstep Pro not triggering Vermona DRM1 CV inputs

I just got a (used) Vermona DRM1 mkIII deluxe with CV trigger inputs. My Beatstep Pro arrived in the mail today, plugged in the mono 1/8" to 1/4" cables, selected "drum" mode and... Nothing. I installed the new firmware, no change. Has anyone used the Beatstep Pro to sequence a DRM1 yet? Is there anything I need to change in MCC to make it trigger? I've never used CV triggering before, but I've read a lot about it, and it seems relatively plug and play.... Is there anything i'm doing wrong?

Also, I noticed there is some ground loop feedback (I don't have the mini-USB cable to get rid of it). Is it possible this would interfere with CV?

Could be too short or long gate times. I've noticed value around 50 is good for gate most times, too long gates make vermona skip some steps.
For other gate parameters I'm using firmware defaults with DRM1.

Thanks! I'll try adjusting gate time. Would that cause it to not trigger at all? The trigger LEDs don't even flash.

Turns out it was the mono TS 1/4" inputs, they needto be TRS for the Vermona.

that's weird - I emailed Vermona over the weekend, and they said the exact opposite.
which now works fine for me: 8 x drum gate to DRM1, Kenton TS to TS minijack :)
