Title: Dim the lights
Post by: breakfunknsoul on August 02, 2015, 10:39:12 pm
Is there a way of dimming the overall light level or the pads in particular? I find them really bright specially at night

Yeah, it's the brightest piece of equipment in my kit.

I'd love to have a way to turn it down...  Shift and swing to control it perhaps?

It's great in summer on an open field, but in the studio, man, it;s blinding

This will obviously require a hardware modification increasing resistor values to the leds - possible but would void any warranty.
I would still like to know which parts to change in a years time...
Why are so many new synths and things made so blindingly bright  8) that they are a hinderance in low light live or studio situations? 8)

+100 BUMP
Please add LED Brightness setting to BeatStep, BeatStepPro and KeystepPro (if not on that one), it works great on the Keystep!! Many people need this. Should be standard on all such equipment by all manufacturers. Thank you!

I just bought new and would rather not return...
