Title: Sequence 2 gate out hanging after first note

I have Sequence 2 hooked up to my modular via the 3.5mm cv & gate outs. When the BSP is playing the sequence works as expected BUT when the BSP is stopped and I am triggering notes by hitting the pads the gate out only sends the first gate and then hangs. If I press stop I can then get a further note from Sequence 2, but I can only ever get the first gate and then nothing. The pitch CV is responsive, but the gate isn't.

Incidentally if I use the knobs to select a pitch value the gate triggers with each change in pitch as is should. This problem seems to be specific to playing the pads.

FYI Sequence 1 works exactly as it should, this is just a problem with the gate out on Sequencer 2.

Any ideas on what's going wrong?

This started happening to me last night too, exactly as described here. Did you ever find a solution?

I am also having this issue on a new Beatstep Pro. 

Tried reinstalling the firmware (1.4) and the issue persists, gate stays high from sequencer two gate out when a note is played and only an All Notes Off (triple press on stop button), or playing the sequence resets it.

Bug?

Hello.
Have you guys tried the hard reset procedure ? (Hold PRST LNK + << + >> + LST STEP at power up)
-> You must be on firmware 1.4.0.2
-> Don't forget to save your sequences with the Midi Control Center first.
Let me know if that fixes the issue.

Hi Edouard and thanks for your response.

The hard reset procedure, followed by reinstalling FW 1.4.0.2 has got sequencer 2 back on track for me, the gate is not sticking any more.

I appreciate the response, hopefully this fix works for others as well.
