Title: Midi Thru?

Is the Beatstep Pro Midi Out supposed to work as a Midi Thru as well? I've got a Poly synth in the chain after the BSP, but the midi information coming from a software sequencer gets passed through it in a strange way. It seems to be limited to 3 or 4 notes and the note offs send another trigger. Wondering if the Beatstep pro just cannot be used in a midi chain using the midi out as a thru. Thanks.
