Title: Can the beatstep use Midi and CV at the same time?

If I have a midi synth with CV mod in for the filter, can I use the midi to program the notes, and the CV out to modulate the filter at the smae time?

Yes, but you'll be using the "same" Note (or Gate) CV value equivalent to what BeatStep is sending through MIDI.

If that's what you want, then yeah, you can use MIDI's Note on/off to play it and any of the (same) Note or Gate CV to values to modulate anything else through CV :)
