Title: Beatstep with MPX8

Yeah, so, I set up a Template in the MIDI Software,  pad 1-8 as MIDI notes 36-34 (pads 1-8 on the MPX8) all channels set to 10, and Nothing... Any Ideas? at this point the BS is a great paper weight.

1) What happens if you control another instrument with that BeatStep template? Do you see notes being played?

2) Is the MPX8 played when connected to another controller or some other MIDI source (like a DAW) ?

3) Does the MPX8 has a setting where you need to choose the incoming MIDI port (USB vs MIDI BIN) ? Assuming you've connected the BeatStep through MIDI DIN, this might explain why is it ignoring it if it's only "listening" to MIDI incoming from USB.
