Hello,
When I change the sequence length, the pattern restarts, rather than playing through and then into the new pattern length.
This makes it almost impossible to keep things in sync on the down beat.
I read a (long) while back that this was a known issue and assumed it would be fixed by now - but still no firmware update since 1.1.0 ???
I was so excited when the Beatstep came out that I bought two of them for my live rig - but if this issue doesn't get fixed, then I'm left feeling rather uninspired - as changing pattern length on the fly would be a lot of fun... along with pattern direction etc..
Please can this get fixed asap, and can we have a firmware update?

This is one of the reasons I sold my Beatstep. I ordered the Beatstep Pro in January ( Woodbrass took credit card payment straight away) and I was hoping to get it for my birthday in June...
If the delay in shipping is because they are getting things like this ironed out I guess I will be cool about it.

shocking! really left half baked

Once Arturia support wrote me about the same issue - they told me to turn on ext sync. But that's absurd if you are not running software.
-
turning on ext sync never solved the issue anyway.

I´m also waiting for un update that will FIX this. There is no way to use of this function on a live enviroment.

Got this reply to my support ticket regarding this issue back in June:
I checked and this is already known and planned for a possible fix in a future firmware update ! I can not give any date or certainty though...
But I linked your message to give it more weight.
But as that was a while ago, I am starting to lose hope. The ticket is also closed... (Case 225769)
