Title: Will the Beatstep Pro double as a MIDI to CV convertor?

As in - CV/Gate 1 can receive MIDI channel 1 to transmit to CV/Gate, CV/Gate receive MIDI 2 send to CV/Gate, and are each of the triggers assignable to receive MIDI, and send the trigger by channel?  Basically - will this have the functionality MIDIwise of a Kilpatrick K1600 or Mutable Instruments Yarns?  Is the MIDI just sync or also MIDI to CV?  Basically, I'd be integrating this with another hardware sequencer that can do polyphony...trying to figure out if this even fits the bill for my needs.

Yes Midi will be sent also in CV/Gate

With different midi channels going to each cv/gate out, can the BSP record on both sequencers simultaneously?

You will be able to choose witch midi channel to be send as CV.
You will be able to record only one sequence at the same time.

Hello. im trying to use an external keyboard as contoller, and convert midi into cv. Ive setup the midi-in channel for sequencer 1 to the same midi-out channel of the external keyboard, but no signal is received. Can you help me with the correct setup? thanks
