Title: Replacing encoders

My Beatstep took a fall from a coffee table and managed to break 2 encoders :-\

Wondering if anyone has done this? I'm looking for 24 pulse, no push, mechanical encoders with 15-17.5mm shaft (not sure what exactly the originals are). I've located some Bourns I think are compatible, but the originals look physically more like Alps, which are currently backordered on Mouser and might also explain their fragility.
