So, I'm an happy man tonight...
Now another question and I can open a champaign bottle if the answer is "yes" ...
Does the swing will work in standalone (and midi sync slave).
I'm asking that cause the swing on Beatstep is only working when connected in usb....

8 Drum-Gate-Outs... That's it!!!!! Connecting an old Tama, Simmons or Pearl drumbrain while sequenzing 2 oldschool-synths.... Heaven is near, if everything works perfectly with the beatstep pro...

one thing would be great... the possibility to connect the old beatstep to the new beatstep via USB... so the old unit would get the functionallity it should have... beatstep pro as master, the old beatstep as slave...

Fabricelig : Swing will work in standalone, yes. Everything works in standalone, USB connection to a computer is just another way to send MIDI, and to configure the instrument via the MIDI Control Center application.

You also get individual swing amounts per sequence, if you want.

Atarikid : I'm afraid you won't be able to connect BeatStep to Beatstep Pro. Beatstep could only be sync'ed via USB, and beatstep Pro (like most USB devices) can not work as a USB master host.
