Title: beatstep not sequencing akai mpx16

I can play the mpx16 samples from the beatstep's pads in controller mode but I can't get the BEATSTEP to sequence the mpx16.
Apparently mpx receives midi on all channels and sends on channel 10 (if that information is of any use).
Can someone help me prepare a template?

That's odd. You can preprogram a sequence within the MIDI Control Center app. You might try that to ensure you have the notes properly aligned with what the mpx16 is expecting.
