Hello Arturia Community,
I was wondering if there was a way I can reset the sequencer on the Beatstep? eg. Have all the knobs back to the place they originally began at, before a sequence is composed.
I would sincerely appreciate it if anyone was able to provide some advice on this! Thanks in advance! :)

Hello!
I did this with my Mac and a preset using the software that came with the unit.
Are you trying to do it with just the hardware and a synth?

Hey!
I am trying to reset the sequencer for use with my DAW (Logic), a hardware synth and also the iPad.
I'm looking for a global 'reset' function for the sequencer - any idea on how to do this?
Thanks in advance!

I think I actually figured this out on my own. :)

Whatever you do, don't tell us how you did it.

how ?

The RECALL button looks the only solution I guess...

Can you please share your findings?
I am trying to figure this out and I am failing miserably.
Please help…

I haven't found a function for this specifically but here's a workaround I've been using:
Create a basic preset in the Midi Control program on your computer with all note values set to C3 (or whatever you want your default note to be). Maybe leave the sequence empty or do what I do and have 1 note play on each downbeat (steps 1, 5, 9, 13). Just some pattern that when you see it you'll know you've got your boilerplate sequence opened up. Whenever you need to set a sequence back to a starting point, recall pad 16 while in SEQ mode and then store it to whatever pad you were previously working on.
