Title: Which midi connectors are connected?

Hi! I'm building a custom midi breakout cable for my live rack case and was wondering where the two pin midi are connected on the DIN?
I don't have access to a multimeter.

I guess it's 4 & 5 but in what order?

Is the shield connected too if I use a mini TRS connector?
