Title: Is the full manual as bad as the quickstart?

Subject says it all - quickstart reads like it was translated from another language, rife with outright errors and odd words (I know what a potentiometer is, but wouldn't it have been easier to say "knob" or "dial"?)  Anyway, my purchase hangs on this question.  Does the full manual suck too?
