Hello all,
I believe the 'slow mouse response' problem that I've seen people talking about is due to the OS, not CPU speed. I believe Windows 98 users are the most affected by the new 2.0 version update. I have tried this myself, and found that a machine with Windows XP comparable to my Windows 98 in speed, still ran MMV okay.
I have sent a letter to tech support, hoping to see if this is truly the case. For the time being I am using version 1.2, because my studio machine is running Windows 98, because Windows XP doesn't have drivers for some of my music hardware. I would like for Arturia to see if they can address this issue, because I am sure there are still quite a few Win98 users in the MMV community.
It would be helpful if people posted if they are experiencing the problems in Windows XP, to contrast my suspicions. But I am almost certain that it's
an OS issue.
