Title: Ok to uninstall ver1 and 1.2 after installing new Ver 2?

I stated out when i bought the program installing it from supplied ver 1 cd rom,,,then i installed ver 1.2 patch and now have just intalled new  ver 2 from downoad...is it ok to use usual windows xp uninstall protocol to unintall ver 1 and ver 1.2 will ver 2 still remain and work?

Or must i uninstall all versions and do a fresh install of just  ver 2 alone, or reinstall
ver 1 from original cd then install ver 2 again??
